    Melissa Baker, ARNP

    Melissa Baker, NP-C, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University in 1999, and her nursing master’s degree and post-masters residency from the University of Southern Indiana in 2007. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana. Melissa’s experience includes women’s health, public health, case management, disease management and nursing education. Her goal is to provide her patients with individualized care that focuses on wellness and healthful lifestyle choices.

  • Cassandra Bittenbender

    Cassandra Bittenbender, M.D.

    Dr. Cassandra Bittenbender is a board certified Family Medicine physician. She received her bachelor’s degree from Murray State University in 1990, and her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Bittenbender then completed her residency in Family Medicine at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina in 1997. She practiced in South Carolina until 1999, before moving back to the Southern Indiana area, where she has practiced since 2000. Dr. Bittenbender shares the Floyd Memorial Medical Group-New Albany practice with her husband, Dr. Michael Bittenbender, with whom she has practiced alongside since residency. She also has two children, Ashley and Andrew, and enjoys spending her free time with family.

    Michael Bittenbender, M.D.

    Dr. Michael Bittenbender is a board certified Family Medicine physician. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University in 1990, and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Bittenbender then completed his residency in Family Medicine at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina in 1997. He practiced in South Carolina until 1999, before moving back to the Southern Indiana area, where he has practiced since 2000. Dr. Bittenbender shares the Floyd Memorial Medical Group-New Albany practice with his wife, Dr. Cassandra Bittenbender, with whom he has practiced alongside since residency. He also has two children, Ashley and Andrew, is an avid singer, and enjoys spending his free time with family.

  • Lauren Herrmann

    Lauren Herrmann, M.D.

    Family medicine physician, Lauren Herrmann, MD, graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2006 and then went on to complete her residency in family medicine from Hunterdon Family Medicine Resident in Flemington, NJ. After completing her residency in 2009, she began practicing medicine at Keesler Air Force Base Family Health Clinic. Dr. Herrmann was promoted to Medical Director in 2010 and she held that position until 2013, when she made the decision to join the Floyd Memorial Medical Group. Dr. Herrmann is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is married and has two children.

  • David McCay

    David McCay, M.D.

    Dr. McCay is a board certified Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician. He received his bachelor’s degree from Centre College in 1994, and his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2003. Dr. McCay then completed his residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2007, where he was also Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and an urgent care physician. He has been with the Floyd Memorial Medical Group-New Albany since 2009. Dr. McCay is a strong advocate of preventive care and encourages his patients to lead healthy lifestyles. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter and is also an avid reader and sports enthusiast.
