Outpatient

If you will be having surgery, your physician will determine if outpatient surgery is a good option for you.

Your surgeon or anesthesiologist may want you to have some test performed prior to surgery. Please have these done according to your doctor’s instructions. If you doctor does not give you a date or time, you may have your testing done three to five days before the day of your surgery. You need to report to Patient Registration, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. or on Saturday between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for your testing needs.

If you have questions concerning the tests ordered by your physician, please call the Pre-Anesthesia Testing Department, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at (812) 949-5755, or (800) 423-1513, ext. 5755.
