Dr. Aniefiok Uyoe, M.D.

Floyd Memorial Orthopedic Group welcomed board certified, fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon Aniefiok Uyoe, M.D. in March 2010. With expertise in adult reconstructive surgery, Dr. Uyoe specializes in knee and hip total joint replacements, including minimally-invasive treatment options.

Dr. Uyoe received his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed an orthopedic internship and residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He received his fellowship training from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in adult reconstruction.

His accredited fellowship from Virginia Commonwealth University included training in complex primary and revision total knee and hip arthroplasty, hip and knee arthroscopic surgery, computer assisted surgery, adult pelvic osteotomies and unicondylar knee arthroplasty. During his fellowship, he received the Leonard Marmor Surgical Arthritis Foundation Outstanding Resident Award, an honor bestowed by the attending physicians.
