Floyd Memorial’s Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate has been a leader in research and clinical trials in the Kentuckiana area since 2001. Featuring a medical staff with years of research experience and funded in part by top pharmaceutical companies, the Joslin Diabetes Center is conducting multiple research programs at any one time on a diverse range of diabetes related topics such as inhaled insulin protocols, obesity, and insulin delivery devices. Working with leading pharmaceutical companies ensures that the Joslin Diabetes Center is at the head of its field in producing advanced, scientific research for the advancement of diabetes management and prevention. Vasti Broadstone, M.D., the Center’s Medical Director, is a nationally recognized board certified endocrinologist and internal medicine specialist. She is joined by endocrinologists Sri Mokshagundam, M.D., who is also certified in geriatrics, internal medicine, weight control, and stress and Vasdev Lohano, M.D., who is also certified in internal medicine. As a team, they lead ongoing research programs and manage patient care and treatment programs within the center.
