We want to help you identify your risk factors for heart attack and stroke, and show you how to take action to reduce or eliminate them.
The Floyd Memorial Heart & Stroke Screening is a free program that aims to prevent heart attack and stroke with a two-pronged approach. It is a comprehensive cardiovascular screening coupled with individualized health counseling.
Comprehensive Screening & Education
Heart & Stroke Screening participants will receive the following free services:
- Blood pressure screening
- Height, weight and body mass index measurement
- Total cholesterol
- HDL cholesterol
- LDL cholesterol
- Blood glucose
- Hemoglobin A1C
- Personalized cardiovascular risk assessment
- Individualized health counseling with a registered nurse
