Floyd Memorial recently received the Rauch Industries’ Business of the Year award. The honor recognizes a local organization or business for building a work environment for individuals of varying skills and talents including people with disabilities. The hospital has over 80 departments that work together to provide care to our patients. Floyd Memorial’s team comes from a variety of backgrounds and each brings a different attribute to the organization.
Another program that Floyd Memorial participates in is an internship program with Project SEARCH designed to provide Floyd County high school students with disabilities hands-on work experience in the healthcare field. The program is a collaborative effort between New Albany-Floyd County Schools, Achieva Resources, Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Indiana Institute of Disability and Community.
