Floyd Memorial Cuts Wait Times in Registration Through Process Improvement Plan

In order to better serve our customers and decrease wait times in Patient Registration, Floyd Memorial developed a process improvement plan that has cut wait times down by over half.Improvements include a reduced wait time in the hospital’s Express Lab by designating an area for patients to register that is separate from the hospital’s information desk. A greeter has also been placed in the Main Lobby to answer questions and escort visitors to their destination.These are just some of the ways Floyd Memorial is trying to improve our patients’experience and satisfaction.
