Thanks to our dedication to expert care and exceptional comfort, Floyd Memorial Hospital has been named the “Most Recommended Hospital in the Region” according to data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which is a national, standardized, publicly reported survey of patients’ perspectives of their hospital experience and care. This honor means that former patients are more likely to recommend Floyd Memorial Hospital to their family and friends over any other hospital in a 25-mile radius.

Cardiovascular Care Unit Receives Patient Perception Award
Floyd Memorial’s Cardiovascular Care and Telemetry Unit recently received a 5-Star Award for Overall Quality of Care in the Professional Research Consultants’ (PRC) 2011 Patient Perception study, indicating that patients receiving care on these units rated their experience as absolutely top-notch.
The Patient Perception Study is conducted to obtain the opinions of past Floyd Memorial patients via a confidential survey to assess their perceptions of the hospital’s quality of care.
Floyd Memorial Hospital Named One of the Most Beautiful Hospitals in America
Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services was recently named one of the 50 most beautiful hospitals in America in Soliant Health’s third annual Most Beautiful Hospital in America contest. The top 50 hospitals were chosen by a panel of experts who narrowed the list down from over 250 nominations based on the architectural style, landscaping, photogenic properties and uniqueness of each facility.
