To meet growing volumes in care, Floyd Memorial’s Anticoagulation Management Services has relocated to the area across from the Hospital’s Radiology waiting room on the 1st floor. The program provides outpatient care and monitoring for adult patients receiving anticoagulation therapy including heparin and warfarin.
The clinic is supervised by Medical Director Syed Kazmi, MD, and staffed by clinical pharmacists. Patients are seen by appointment and require a physician referral. The goals of the clinic include decreasing the risk of negative effects of the therapy and improving patient results for anticoagulation care.
