Surender Sandella, M.D.
Board certified cardiologist, Surender K. Sandella, MD, FACC, FSCAI, graduated from Osmania University Medical College in Hyderabad, India. After moving to the United States in 1992, Dr. Sandella completed his residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1995. After working in private practice for a year, he began an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine which he completed in 2000. Dr. Sandella has been practicing cardiovascular medicine since 2001 including locations in Atlanta and Sheffield, Alabama, before returning to the Louisville metro area to join Cardiovascular Associates of Southern Indiana in 2011. Dr. Sandella has expertise in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. In addition, he is the featured speaker at Floyd Memorial’s annual Heart Healthy Dining Out event.
