Janet Streepey, M.D.

Dr. Streepey is a General Primary Care Physician/board certified in Occupational Medicine, with over 37 years of experience practicing medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 1970 and her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1974. She then went on receive a Master’s in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2003. Dr. Streepey’s experience includes serving as a staff physician with the Hammond Clinic from 1975-1985 and the Medical Group of Michigan City from 1985-1998. She then went on to serve as the director of Floyd Memorial’s Occupational Health Program from 1999-2007 and most recently as a staff physician with Occupational Medicine Physicians and as a civil surgeon with the United States Immigration Department. She is a member of both the American and Central States Occupational and Environmental Medical Associations and takes a particular interest in preventive medicine and community health. Dr. Streepey is a lifelong Indiana resident, and has resided on her farm in Harrison County for over 15 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, a retired dentist, and her four children and five grandchildren, as well as the many animals she raises on her farm.
