Dean J. Wickel, MD is a board certified and fellowship trained vascular surgeon. Dr. Wickel completed medical school at the University of South Carolina. He then went on to complete a general surgery residency at the University of Louisville and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee. After completing his education and training, Dr. Wickel spent four years at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas, where he served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army. Dr. Wickel came to the Kentuckiana area in 2004, where he lives with his wife Shannon and their four children.
