Board certified internal medicine physician, Federico Salcedo, MD graduated from medical school at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre Y Maestra in the Dominican Republic in 1991. After moving to the United States, he completed his residency at North General Hospital in New York in 1999.Dr. Salcedo is the medical director of Riverview Village Nursing Home and has been in private practice in Sellersburg, Indiana since 2002. Dr. Salcedo is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Debra Zimmer, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has over 18 years of nursing experience including emergency room, medical/surgical, geriatrics, home healthcare, hospice and nursing education. Debra obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1998 from McKendree College in Louisville, KY. She went on to complete a master’s degree in 2001 in nursing from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. Debra practiced internal and family medicine at St. Catherine’s Regional Hospital as well as family medicine within the American Health Network practice. Before joining Floyd Memorial, Debra worked as a nurse practitioner for Kings Daughter Hospital in the emergency room. She has a professional membership with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Debra enjoys horseback riding and spending time in nature.
