Sharon Coleman, ARNP, is a nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has 27 years of nursing experience including cardiac care, emergency room, home healthcare, case management, acute dialysis and intensive care. Sharon obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1988 from Indiana University. She went on to complete a master’s degree in 2011 in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2014, Sharon created Sapphire Health Care, a healthcare business with a focus on geriatric primary care. Sharon is ACLS, PALS and BLS certified. She has professional memberships with AANP, Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and volunteers at the Community Health Center in downtown Louisville.
Certified family nurse practitioner, Trina Cox, APRN obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2001 from Indiana University Southeast, and then completed a master’s degree in nursing in 2012 from Spalding University. She is experienced in family practice, obstetrics, pediatrics and occupation/urgent care. Trina worked as an advanced practice registered nurse at Norton Healthcare prior to coming to Floyd Memorial. She is a certified DOT medical examiner as well as AANP certified.
