Highway to Health
Join the Floyd Memorial Foundation on October 19, 2013 for the third annual “Highway to Health” Motorcycle Ride. The 100-mile ride through southern Indiana will start at the Floyd Memorial Cancer Center of Indiana in New Albany and make stops at Floyd Memorial sites in Corydon, Salem and Charlestown. The event begins at 10 am with registration and breakfast. The ride will depart at 11 am. The cost is $20 per rider or $30 for rider plus a passenger. Waivers and payment will be accepted the morning of the event. After riders return, there will be lunch provided by Chick-fil-A and entertainment provided by the KUKES. “We’re excited about this event. It is a wonderful fall activity and we hope to have even more motorcycle enthusiasts this year,” said Ruth Heideman, Executive Director of the Floyd Memorial Foundation. “All dollars raised go back into supporting the mission of the Floyd Memorial Foundation.” Orthopedic surgeons, Edward E. Bell, MD and Aniefiok Uyoe, MD, as well as, Hall Render, The Hartfield Company, Chick-fil-A, and Callistus Smith Agency are sponsors of the event.
