Description:
Teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat cardiac arrest, breathing difficulties, and choking in infants. Teaches infant rescue breathing with and without barrier devices. Cost: $25 for the course and $12.50 for the required manual. If participant also signs up for Adult/Child Heartsaver, cost for both is $40 plus manual. Cash, check or charge accepted. Participants must pay for the class and pick up the required manual in the FMHHS Education Department prior to the class.
