Nursing PRIDE Program
(Professional Recognition In the Development of Nursing Excellence)
The nursing PRIDE program fosters an environment of clinical excellence to promote positive patient outcomes. The program offers monetary reward and recognition for nurses who demonstrate commitment to their professional performance and colleagues.
Available for full-time or part-time associates who have been employed at Floyd Memorial for a minimum of 12 months. Up to $3,000 in annual benefits are available for approved, work-related courses for full-time associates and up to $1,500 in annual benefits are available for approved, work-related courses for par-time associates.
Available for full-time, part-time, or PRN associates who have been employed at Floyd Memorial for a minimum of 12 months and have been accepted into an accredited Nursing or Allied Health program. Applicants are eligible for up to $5,000 per year. Selection is competitive and a one-year full-time service agreement with Floyd Memorial for every $5,000 received is required.
In accordance with the Floyd Memorial philosophy to encourage education and professional advancement, payment will be made for specialty certifications in your area of expertise.
Nurse Residency Program
This program is in place to assist full-time or part-time new RN graduates as they transition from a student nurse to a practicing nurse over a 12 month period. In addition to orientation to our hospital system and the nursing department, the new RN graduate will also have the opportunity to attend monthly educational workshops and support sessions. All new RN graduates will automatically be enrolled in this program at the time of hire.
