Floyd Memorial Home Healthcare Receives Rave Reviews from Inspectors

July 31, 2014

Floyd Memorial Home Healthcare was recently surveyed unannounced by two agencies: The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). Each agency reviewed policies, organizational structure, patient charts, financial billing records, service contracts, risk management, home visits, performance improvement activities, personnel records, completed patient and staff interviews and more.

The ISDH found Floyd Memorial Home Healthcare to have a perfect score, meaning they are in compliance with all regulations and had no deficiencies. ACHC awarded a three-year accreditation to the home healthcare agency as well. These achievements mark a commitment to quality in the provision of home healthcare services to the six-county region that Floyd Memorial Home Healthcare serves.

Floyd Memorial President and CEO Mark Shugarman explained, “We’re proud to have an effective, caring and competent team of Home Healthcare leadership, providers and support. These excellent reviews reflect our ongoing commitment to providing top-notch service to the community we serve.”
