What: “Be the Match” Bone Marrow Registry Drive

Be the match. Save a life. Thousands of patients with blood cancers such as leukemia or lymphoma depend on the National Bone Marrow Donor Registry to find a match to save their life. The Floyd Memorial Cancer Center of Indiana will host a bone marrow registry drive to sign up community members interested in joining the registry. People between 18 and 44 years of age who meet health guidelines and are willing to donate their bone marrow if a genetic match is found are encouraged to participate. Joining the registry is quick and painless-it only takes a simple cheek swab to potentially save a life. No appointment necessary.
