Free Seminar Addresses Back Pain and Spine Disorders

April 7, 2010

A pain in the neck is more than just an expression for many. It is a debilitating condition that affects every day living making it physically impossible to enjoy activities and resulting in many lost days of work. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician Rodney Chou, MD, with Floyd Memorial’s new Spine Center, will offer a free seminar on Thursday, April 22 on how the spine functions. The seminar will be held at the hospital’s Cancer Center of Indiana located at 2210 Green Valley Road.

Along with explaining the mechanics of the spine, Dr. Chou will address common spinal disorders, signs and symptoms of spine problems and treatment options available to patients.

The first step to regaining your life by reducing neck and back pain is to identify the source of the pain and how it can be treated. Floyd Memorial’s new Spine Center follows a multi-disciplinary approach to care that includes the expertise of a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, neurosurgeon and orthopedic spine surgeon.

The seminar is free but registration is requested. To register for the seminar, call 1-800-4-SOURCE (1-800-476-8723) or visit us online at www.floydmemorial.com
