Floyd Memorial HMR Program Earns Seven National “Gold Standard” Rankings

The Floyd Memorial Weight Management Center HMR (Health Management Resources) Program recently announced their receipt of seven national “Gold Standard” rankings from HMR national headquarters in Boston.  

 All HMR programs nationwide report patient outcome data to the national office, which then tracks all treatment variables directly related to patient success.  Examples of treatment variables include: the number of patients attending weekly meetings, the number of patients complying with physical activity goals and the number of patients who lose or maintain weight on a monthly basis. 

The “Gold Standard Threshold” is the top five percent of all HMR programs nationwide in each measured variable.  Floyd Memorial Hospital has built their successful HMR program based on these standards, resulting in excellent weight loss outcomes and patient success.
