In honor of National Diabetes Alert Day on Tuesday, March 23, the Floyd Memorial Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate will offer a free Pre-Diabetes Class at the Holiday Inn Express in Corydon. The class, which normally costs $25 and is being subsidized by the Floyd Memorial Foundation for this event, is taught by certified diabetes educators and is designed to help patients at risk of developing type 2 diabetes learn about necessary lifestyle changes and how to set goals for living healthier.
