Floyd Memorial will be offering a free monthly health seminar and screening series at the New Albany YMCA. The series will take place the third Thursday of every month with the free screening being conducted from 6 to 7 p.m. and the lecture starting at 7 p.m. A special running program will be offered in January as well.

Lecture: Starting the Year Off Right with a Weight Management Plan presented by Amy Brown, registered dietitian and clinical exercise physiologist and Nancy Anderson, program coordinator, with Floyd Memorial’s Weight Management Center.
Thursday, January 29
Lecture Only: Starting a Running Program, presented by Kay Vannoy, physical therapist at Floyd Memorial and avid runner, and experts from Pacers and Racers.
Thursday, February 19
Screening: Cholesterol (for best results fast 8 hours prior)
Lecture: Know Your Heart Risk presented by Floyd Memorial Cardiac Rehabilitation specialists Debbie Smith, R.N., and Maria Sellers, R.N.
