Floyd Memorial Welcomes New Emergency Center Director to Team

Linda Minton, RN, BSN, recently joined the staff at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services as the Emergency Center Director. She will oversee the hospital’s emergency services department, as well as a staff of 88 employees.

Minton has a nursing diploma from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette, Ind., and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McKendree College in Louisville.

Her past experience includes staff nursing, management and director level positions in the emergency centers of Suburban Hospital, University Hospital, Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown and Springview Hospital in Lebanon, Kentucky. Most recently Minton has served in flight staff nurse and director level positions with MedFlight of East Kentucky and STATCARE Louisville air ambulance services. She has also volunteered with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Relief Nurse for over 20 years. Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services is a regional healthcare provider that serves a seven county area.
